Bio
Cindy Skaggs is a military veteran who holds an MFA from Pacific Lutheran University and an MA in Creative Writing from Regis University. She is the author of eight novels of romantic suspense, an advocate for military and veteran issues, mom to two humans, and a reluctant wrangler of too many critters. Her journal publications include december Magazine, So to Speak Feminist Journal, The New Limestone Review, Progenitor Art & Literary Review, Soundings, Wanderlust Journal, Beyond Words Magazine, the Fredericksburg Literary Art Review, and Brilliant Flash Fiction. Her memoir in essays recently won Finalist in the 2020 Curt Johnson Prose Awards for Nonfiction & the 2020 Monadnock Essay Collection Prize. She is a native of Colorado where she teaches graduate and undergraduate creative writing.
