Overview

​Cindy Skaggs has lectured in composition and rhetoric, creative writing, and literature at Pikes Peak State College; in creative writing, genre fiction, storytelling, literature, and the creative writing thesis at Southern New Hampshire University; and writing to heal, writing creative nonfiction, and market research for writers at Denver University. Her research interests center around creative writing, literary modernity, Irish writing, Irish women’s writing, and the works of Mary Lavin and James Joyce. In 2019-2020, Cindy developed and led weekly Veteran Expressive Writing Workshops in conjunction with the Colorado Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts. She is the author of seven novels, two novellas, and several literary journal publications.
